On 18 November, 17 UK partners joined online to meet with 32 Jiangsu institutions who gathered in Nanjing for the AGM of UK-Jiangsu World Class University Consortium (UKJS).
The host this year is Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA).
University of Liverpool, as the UK secretariat, is the co-host.
The UK-Jiangsu Virtual Technology Roadshow 2022 offers UK and Jiangsu academics and researchers an opportunity to connect and present research and technologies to the government, industry, investors and business partners in Jiangsu, China. The aim is to facilitate the collaboration of university, industry and research between UK and Jiangsu in advanced manufacturing. The Roadshow will start at 8am, Thu, 30 June 2022.
The UK-Jiangsu AGM took place between 5th and 6th November and employed a hybrid online and physical platform for its sessions. According to our platform data, there were 532,338 hits for the live broadcast on the day. It has been reported by Xinhua Daily, ChinaNews, Sohu, Sina, ScienceNet, China Science Daily, Jiangsu TV, etc.

London, 12/2017- Chaired by Jeremy Hunt, UK’s Secretary of State for Health and Liu Yandong, vice premier of China’s State Council, UK and China signed the Protocol of UK-Jiangsu 20+20 World-Class University Initiative.
A group of more than 30 leading universities from the UK and Jiangsu province in China, today announced a commitment to intensify research and education collaboration on a “many to many” basis.
There are 54 Jiangsu applications for UK university this year and 82% have been offered a place.
